The Portable Manual Water Purifier Pump provides off-grid water filtration without electricity, batteries or external power. Designed for emergency preparedness, camping, remote work, travel and outdoor use, the system combines a manual pressure pump with two replaceable filtration stages.

Water first passes through a 5-micron PP filter element that captures larger suspended particles such as sediment, sand and other debris. It then moves through a 0.1-micron ultrafiltration membrane designed to reduce fine contaminants and pathogenic bacteria from suitable freshwater sources.

Two-Stage Filtration

PP Filter Element: The 5-micron polypropylene filter acts as the first filtration stage, helping intercept sediment, suspended solids and other larger particles before they reach the ultrafiltration membrane.

Ultrafiltration Membrane: The 0.1-micron membrane provides the final filtration stage and is designed to reduce fine particulate matter and pathogenic bacteria from suitable freshwater sources.

Care and Maintenance

Filter performance will vary according to source-water quality and operating conditions. Clean or replace the PP filter when water flow decreases or the filter becomes visibly contaminated. The ultrafiltration membrane should also be cleaned or replaced if reduced flow continues after the PP element has been serviced.

After use, clean and dry the filtration components before storage. Do not allow the filtration system to freeze while it contains water, as freezing may damage the membrane and internal components.

It is not designed to desalinate seawater or remove all dissolved chemicals, fuels, pesticides, industrial contaminants, heavy metals or viruses.
